Everything to know about the upcoming 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV

If you’re looking for a midsize electric SUV, the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV is an excellent option. This electric vehicle (EV) offers outstanding performance, solid range, and smart tech features. The Blazer EV also comes in a variety of configurations, which makes it easy to find a model that’s ideal for you. In this guide, we’ll tell you everything to know about the upcoming 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV.
What’s New for the 2026 Model Year?
Chevrolet has made a few changes for 2026. Rear-wheel drive is no longer available, and you can now choose between front- and all-wheel drive. You’ll also get a dual-level charging cord with adapters that let you easily switch between Level 1 and Level 2 chargers.
There are some exterior design updates as well. Polar White Tricoat replaces Iridescent Pearl Tricoat as an exterior color option, and the RS trim now comes standard with a black two-tone roof. There’s also a new Tech Bronze Package that adds 22-inch Tech Bronze wheels and black exterior decals.
Pricing
The 2026 lineup has three trim levels. The entry-level LT trim begins at $44,600. If you’re looking for more style and amenities, the RS starts at $50,400. For optimal power and performance, the SS costs $60,600.
Performance and Powertrain
There are three different powertrain configurations available. The LT and RS come standard with an 85 kWh battery with a single motor that powers the front wheels. This configuration generates 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. If you choose all-wheel drive, you’ll get an additional motor for the rear axle, and the powertrain will output 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque.
The SS trim gets the most powerful configuration and the best performance specs. It comes with a larger 102 kWh battery and all-wheel drive. This powertrain produces 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, allowing you to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
Battery Technology and Range
Every 2026 Blazer EV comes with an 11.5 kW charging module. In addition, the battery is covered by an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty.
With the 85 kWh battery, the charging rate peaks at 150 kW. This means that with 10 minutes of DC fast charging, you can add up to 81 miles of range for front-wheel-drive models and 68 miles of range for all-wheel-drive variants. With the 102 kWh battery pack, the peak charging rate is 190 kW, allowing you to add 87 miles of range in 10 minutes using a DC fast charger.
The Blazer EV also provides a good amount of driving range. The LT and RS with front-wheel drive have the longest range and can achieve up to 312 miles on a single charge. With all-wheel drive, these trims can travel up to 283 miles. Despite the incredible performance figures of the SS, it can still get up to 302 miles of range thanks to its larger battery.
With the myChevrolet app and a GM-approved North American Charging System DC adapter, you’ll have access to over 250,000 public charging stations across North America, including more than 20,000 Tesla Superchargers. With EV infrastructure still actively being built, you’ll likely be able to find a convenient charger around Woodlawn.
Interior Styling, Features, and Space
The interior of this electric SUV looks sharp and sporty. The RS and SS feature unique, eye-catching details, including a two-tone black and red color scheme. Other available comfort features include heated and ventilated front seats, as well as ambient lighting.
Five people can fit comfortably in the Blazer EV’s cabin. The front legroom measures 44.2 inches, and your rear passengers get 38.9 inches of legroom.
There’s also plenty of storage. You’ll get 25.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up. After folding the rear seats down, you’ll have 59.1 cubic feet of space.
Tech Features
The 2026 Blazer EV features a large 17.7-inch infotainment display and an 11-inch digital gauge cluster standard across all models. The infotainment system has Google built-in, allowing you to access Google Maps, the Google Play Store, and Google Assistant. A six-speaker audio system comes standard on the LT and RS trims, and with the SS, you get an eight-speaker Bose sound system.
Super Cruise hands-free driving comes standard on the SS and is available for the LT and RS. This tech allows you to take your hands off the wheel on compatible highways. It’s an excellent feature to have if you often take long road trips.
